“The place was nice and clean. It was as described. 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath upstairs. A second full bath on the main living floor. There is one issue that was found. No hand soap for either bathroom. How does an Airbnb host skip an essential item. Every hotel provides soap so why do Airbnb hosts think they can save $1 and not provide hand soap. It’s ridiculous that we had to go buy our own hand soap to wash our hands after using the bathroom. Overall the place was nice and would stay again, but I’d pack your own soap before staying here since they are too cheap to provide it.”

“Our original booking flooded 5 days before heading to Mammoth for a 200-mile trail race. We were told by the property managers we could be “upgraded” to another unit for the same price. We initally paid for a newly renovated unit with 3 bedrooms; the “upgrade” was older, musty, & smaller. It only had 2 bedrooms with a loft. Two of our guests who expected a private room slept in a common space for 5 days. We felt misled. Once we arrived, the ice maker was broken. We told the property managers but received no response. On our last day, we were completing the checkout list they provided. We asked why there was no dish washer fluid & received no response. We also asked to clarify a few of their other mandatory checkout procedures we were expected to complete—no response. As renters during shoulder season when things are supposed to be less busy, we weren’t sure why the communication was so poor.”

“Great location, property managers weren’t that great. There was no heat the first night, I asked how to heat the fire stove she said turn the heat on. That’s nice but there were no pellets. She said they’re in the garage. Bringing a 50 lb bag up the stairs to the home isn’t my job. We left a day early. Won’t be back. The town is amazing, just wooden stat here. Home needs some love.”

“For the high price point, I unfortunately would not have booked if I knew there would be loud construction directly outside of each window at 7am. Hot tub was under construction. Upstairs bedroom is blinding with light due to not having a window shade over a large window, so we had to tape black trash bags over it and over the sides of the bottom window shade to help dim the room enough for sleeping past sunrise. Had wear and tear to certain appliances and upstairs water pressure was light. The interior was nice, clean and looked like the pictures, but overall and unfortunately, I would have booked another nice place in the area for a similar price point.”

“All was great- I know it said first floor but there were still stairs to climb which was not expected as I have a hip problem so hard to do. Also could not use balcony/ it was filthy and chairs were so muddy I couldn’t just sweep off. Balcony needs to be cleaned before anyone can sit out there,”
