Plushy in California

“We stayed here during car week 2026 and booked kind of late and were lucky to find this place. It was a great location to attend all the events during car week. Having brought our own car I appreciated the parking spot which was off the street. View is incredible of the Monterey Peninsula. The bathroom is very nice with a remodeled shower. The only complaint we had was there was no furniture on the patio to sit on and enjoy the views. The bed is on the firm side and has a strange plastic mattress cover that was noisy. The interior furniture could use an update but we weren’t in the room all that much so that was not a deal breaker.”

“It was a pleasure staying at this Airbnb in Marina, CA. Nice and peaceful location within 10-20 minutes from nearby Seaside/Monterey/Carmel-by-the-Sea. Description and actual appearance of the home matched well and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. I had no issues with check-in or check-out and my stay was very smooth and comfortable due the cleanliness and amenities available. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a cozy place in Monterey Bay - be it short or long term!”

“The space was very easy to enjoy and the amazing swimming holes we went to were only about 15-20 mins away. The hot tub was great :-) One thing was that we specially asked about swimming in the lake before booking and were told it was swimable- but it’s definitely more of a pond for looking at (and it’s lovely for bird watching!).”
