“I’ll start off by saying that this Airbnb met two of the most important needs of our short trip: working AC and comfortable beds. We did run into a few issues though. First, the kitchen trash had not been emptied. It had a used diaper in one of the cans. When going upstairs, first the stairwell light would only work if it was turned on from above. That made it difficult to get up the stairs at night the first time. Worse was that two of the stair treads had the laminate edge broken off. This may going up/downstairs more adventurous than we wanted. Finally, when one of our party sat down in the edge of their bed, the mattress sunk down into the frame. Several slats had fallen out from underneath. Luckily we only needed two of the four beds. We did report this to the owner and they offered to send someone out. We didn’t want people intruding, so we declined.”

“Overall, we had a very nice time in this AirBnb. It’s a quiet neighborhood and while we saw neighbors/the tenant in the adjacent rental property, we never heard any disturbances. The home is older but was updated nicely, but some renovations seemed shoddily put together and cleaning crew could have done a more thorough job. No BIG issues, but you expect everything to work and be clean when you’re renting a place so it was a bummer to have those issues. Other than the above, the home is in a very convenient location - close to highways, shopping, restaurants and other tourist attractions. We had a lovely time and I would rent the place again because it was a very good price compared to other rentals we were considering. The host was friendly and replied quickly.”
