“The views from this property are breathtaking - you are tucked into a cradle of boulders with glass along the lengths of the home. Beds and linens are wonderfully comfy, their pillows are better than any Airbnb I’ve been to. Plenty of wooden hangers and closet space. The only thing I could mildly complain about is the bathroom shower water pressure - I have very thick hair - but I understand it’s in the middle of the desert! The kitchen is very well stocked with quality amenities and appliances. The great selection of knives are sharp and they have pretty much any implement you can think of for cooking. The grill is excellent - was not expecting it to heat so quickly, charred my flanken ribs a bit! Have stayed at a couple Homestead Modern properties now on advice from other reviewers and have to say, I will seek out their properties in the future. They are not checking boxes on the app, they really mean for you to enjoy your time at their properties.”

“We had a lovely stay. The pictures don’t do the property justice. I’ve stayed in Pioneertown many times… the landscape and architecture is superb and it’s very special home. (we ran into some power outages… But Ian, the property manager with Homestead) was available, quick to respond, and so kind. He fixed all of our challenges quickly and efficiently. I can’t recommend this property more. Can’t wait to return!”

“Exceptionally private expanse of beauty. We absolutely loved our stay here. It felt as though we were immersed in our own private national park. A particular highlight is the bath and shower area under the stars. Everything is very well thought out, with all the amenities and supplies that we needed. Host is very accommodating. We loved it here so much we extended our stay. One note to be mindful of is the last 20 minutes of the drive are on dirt roads, but nothing our SUV couldn’t handle. It just lends itself to the private atmosphere we loved so much. Can’t wait to return to this truly magical retreat!”
