“Homestead Modern was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever been to. We booked the modernist cabin at first, which is the loveliest private midcentury modern cabin with amazing outdoor views on a hill. It was a little too small for our stay for our honeymoon for over a week, and the cohost worked with us to find a larger one of their properties to transfer to and adjust cost (shout out to the cohost 💗!) the communication to navigate this was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Both insides and outsides of the properties were so thoughtfully curated. Even the blankets for outdoors were luxurious. The decor was also thoughtful and unique and felt right at home. I couldn’t say enough good things about Homestead Modern. My husband and I got engaged in Joshua tree, eloped in the park, and now celebrated our honeymoon and it was a perfect experience. We’re from Pennsylvania but come back often and plan on using this host every time we come back now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Amazing stay! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just what we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing and had great stargazing. We loved the pool, hot tub, patio, and fireplaces. Host was very responsive and sent good instructions on how to find the place, which is especially helpful when there’s no cell service. Just know that it’s remote - the drive down the private road to the property is ~10-15 min so factor that into your travel time. We found it especially helpful that we arrived in daylight to navigate the road the first time. Bonus points for: ice maker in freezer, washer/dryer, streaming services, and a cute welcome gift.”

“We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment! The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had a peaceful relaxing environment. It was especially nice for our family, and our kids had a great time. We loved being able to relax together and enjoy the area. Our host was absolutely wonderful, and so easy to communicate with. They were very proactive from providing local options to easy home directions, which made our entire stay stress-free. We really enjoyed our time here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It felt like a true home away from home, and we were honestly sad to leave! We would definitely come back and highly recommend this Airbnb to other families or simply anyone who wants to disconnect.”

“We had a very nice and relaxing stay here with my family. The place was quiet, clean, and looked just like the pictures. The room was well organized, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the host was also great — very friendly and quick to respond. During the summer, we enjoyed staying in and playing games during the daytime when it was hot. In the late afternoon, we drove to Joshua Tree around 4:30 PM. It was only about a 20-minute drive, and we had enough time to drive from the West Entrance to the South Entrance and enjoy the scenery before heading back home around 9:30 PM. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay, we definitely recommend this place!”
