“We had a very nice and relaxing stay here with my family. The place was quiet, clean, and looked just like the pictures. The room was well organized, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the host was also great — very friendly and quick to respond. During the summer, we enjoyed staying in and playing games during the daytime when it was hot. In the late afternoon, we drove to Joshua Tree around 4:30 PM. It was only about a 20-minute drive, and we had enough time to drive from the West Entrance to the South Entrance and enjoy the scenery before heading back home around 9:30 PM. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay, we definitely recommend this place!”

“We had such a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, with a pool, fire pit, and grill, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. Since we were traveling with our dog and baby, we especially appreciated the dog bed, poop bags, extra blankets and towels, and we loved the separate guest-house-style bedroom which was very convenient for our group with a baby. We also loved that each room had its own AC control making it comfortable for everyone. The property is about 20 minutes from Yucca Valley, with lots of cute shops, coffee shops, and brunch spots nearby. We especially recommend Nice Dream Cafe and the sandwiches at Frontier! Overall, we had such a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully designed and well equipped. The host’s attention to detail truly made us feel welcomed and cared for. We would absolutely love to stay here again!”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 5-day relaxing getaway and it exceeded everything we had hoped for. This property is absolutely breathtaking- the photos don’t do it justice. Everything was pristine in terms of cleanliness, the amenities from the outdoor shower to the indoor tub to the outdoor pool were some of our favorites. You truly get the full desert experience with the views that accompany this place both throughout the day and especially at sunset. The sun and stars are breathtaking. Even when small issues arose such as a Wifi outage/issue, the team was right on it and made sure everything was fixed as soon as possible. The team was always very responsive and went above and beyond to fix any small issues. We felt comfortable, safe, & happy here, and were blown away by my experience. I would recommend anyone who’s looking for a peaceful getaway to stay here. We will be coming back! ❤️”

“Amazing getaway and we hope to return. The home is beautiful and the cleaning is top-notch. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed for cooking in or grilling out. We stayed two nights, and spent most of that time relaxing by the pool, which has amazing views. This is the first time I’ve ever managed to get a photograph of the Milky Way! The setting is private and serene, and the wildlife is friendly. The host’s communication was terrific - fast, friendly, and professional. Overall, an amazing retreat, and just the reset and recharge that we needed. Thank you for everything.”

“What a great find! Such a majestic and peaceful location, and a literally perfectly designed home. This was hands down the best stocked kitchen of any AirBnB I’ve stayed in across multiple continents. The bedding and towels were so lux, I’m already contemplating ordering Parachute branded items for myself. A few previous reviews mentioned low water pressure, but we found the shower pressure great in both bathrooms. The Starlink WiFi was also great to have, I had to take one consulting conference call and they said I sounded better than they’re used to on other calls. I’ve already been sharing pics and this listing with friends after just checking out earlier today, so glad we decided to visit!”

“Had a great stay at this unique location! This is the second Homestead Modern property I've stayed at and both were fantastic. The beautiful, secluded yard is where this property really shines. Between the pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill, bocce court, and viewing decks, you can really maximize your outdoors time here. I also enjoyed seeing local wildlife pass through such as roadrunners, jackrabbits, bats, and chipmunks. The house itself was clean and comfortable with all the supplies needed for cooking. The sandy road in is doable in a sedan but would probably be more comfortable in a high clearance vehicle. I would recommend this property for anyone who prioritizes privacy and nature in the Joshua Tree area!”
