“This was the best experience we’ve ever had. Pictures actually don’t do it justice! The home was super spacious and just the right amount of “remoteness” and privacy without feeling deserted. The hot tub, outdoor grill and fire were dreamy and made our experience that much better. We also loved how thoughtful the attention to our stay was - from clean towels to new dish sponges to google tutorial videos for the amenities - everything was spot on. “I came here looking for solitude, reflection and a little space from the noise of the world, and I honestly could not have chosen a more extraordinary place. This home, designed by the brilliant Venice architect Ron Radziner, feels less like a house and more like a piece of art placed gently into the desert. It is literally nestled against these enormous ancient rocks, with glass, sky and silence surrounding you everywhere you look. At night, the stars are absolutely spectacular. I spent hours just sitting, thinking, listening and contemplating my life. There is a serenity here that is difficult to describe until you experience it. The home itself is beautifully designed, immaculate and completely connected to the landscape. And the hosts were exceptional—the communication was immediate, thoughtful and incredibly professional from beginning to end. I came looking for solace and reflection and left with far more than I expected. I could not have asked for a better experience. 🌅🌅🌅”

“Homestead Modern was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever been to. We booked the modernist cabin at first, which is the loveliest private midcentury modern cabin with amazing outdoor views on a hill. It was a little too small for our stay for our honeymoon for over a week, and the cohost worked with us to find a larger one of their properties to transfer to and adjust cost (shout out to the cohost 💗!) the communication to navigate this was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Both insides and outsides of the properties were so thoughtfully curated. Even the blankets for outdoors were luxurious. The decor was also thoughtful and unique and felt right at home. I couldn’t say enough good things about Homestead Modern. My husband and I got engaged in Joshua tree, eloped in the park, and now celebrated our honeymoon and it was a perfect experience. We’re from Pennsylvania but come back often and plan on using this host every time we come back now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Amazing stay! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just what we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing and had great stargazing. We loved the pool, hot tub, patio, and fireplaces. Host was very responsive and sent good instructions on how to find the place, which is especially helpful when there’s no cell service. Just know that it’s remote - the drive down the private road to the property is ~10-15 min so factor that into your travel time. We found it especially helpful that we arrived in daylight to navigate the road the first time. Bonus points for: ice maker in freezer, washer/dryer, streaming services, and a cute welcome gift.”
