“We had the most amazing time. I could not recommend this more if you are looking for an affordable, large-group getaway in California – pack your bags and book now. The view was genuinely breathtaking, I had no idea Lake Mathews even existed until now, and what a beautiful representation. The rooms were spacious, the beds were perfect for our group, everyone had the perfect amount of communal space and private retreat. The backyard and outside were incredible for activities, which was super important as we didn't want to leave the compound. I could go on and on about the details, but overall it was an truly the perfect trip at an incredibly affordable rate. Will probably make this a tradition. Thank you SunnyDays!!!”

“This is a older home with tons of italian charm and space! It seems to have started as a 4 bed, 4 bath, with several closets and dressing rooms converted into extra sleeping areas—perfect for families or groups. The main suite was spacious with a huge bathroom, dressing rooms, lovely views, and an incredibly comfy mattress. Most rooms open to patios, and the outdoor areas were amazing—with multiple dining spots, including one overlooking Lake Mathews (the sunsets were gorgeous!). The pool was large and refreshing, and while the hot tub didn’t stay hot long because of its waterfall setup, the host was responsive and kindly refunded the fee. There’s a 47 dB noise monitor outside, but we still enjoyed two fun family dinners without issue. Bring your own coffee and condiments, kick back, and soak in the views—because this propery shines on the outside and a great place to relax.”
