“The home worked well for our large group, and most areas were clean and comfortable. However, the floors needed a much deeper cleaning. Walking barefoot caused everyone’s feet to turn black, so we had to wash our feet frequently and wear sandals throughout the house, especially to avoid transferring dirt onto the white bedding. We also discovered at check-in that one of the advertised king beds had an undersized frame and a broken support slat, making it unsafe and unusable for the first night. We reported it immediately, and the host communicated consistently, arranged for the bed to be repaired during our stay, and provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. Although the floor and bed issues should have been caught before check-in, I appreciated the host’s responsiveness and professionalism in addressing the bed problem.”
