“Great little beach house rental. Clean, comfortable. Good location to go into Ventura and Santa Barbara for the day. At the end of each night we watched the sunset on Silverstrand Beach. We made breakfast and dinner every day in the kitchen. Our stay was in August and we use all 3 portable fans in the house- they were much needed. A little loud in the neighborhood- but it was never late at night.”

“This rental has a 30 day cancellation policy that many other rentals do not. I requested to change our dates to the following weekend since I was not able to cancel the rental. I was hopeful because Airbnb showed that the rental was available with a discount for the new dates I requested . However, it was declined with no reasoning. I called to find out why they have a cancellation policy while other Airbnb’s do not. They told me that is how the owner set it up. I was also told my request to change the date was denied because my request is less than 30 days and the reasoning again is because that is how the owner has it set up. I let them know I had a death in the family but they still would not let me change the dates. Most of the remotes did not work. We couldn’t get the AC to work which made the master bedroom too hot to sleep in. The house smelt like mold and the washer had mold in it. Since my stay was so short, and my drive was so long, I didn’t want to be bothered by cleaning.”

“Location, location, location! Our family really enjoyed having easy access to the beach. My son was able to fish anytime he wanted and we were able to walk the dogs and get out as needed. The back yard was great for our guests to enjoy sports on the large screen television while dining on a full spread of delicious bbq and charcuterie. My husband said it truly had something for everyone.”
