“Our family was very disappointed with this stay. The problems began before check-in, which was delayed for several hours while we waited outside with 3 children, 2 dogs, and groceries. When we entered, the home had not been properly cleaned: there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, laundry in the dryer, sticky floors, hair throughout the house, and other signs it wasn’t ready for guests. During our stay we dealt with repeated maintenance issues which included a leaking dishwasher, clogged shower, unreliable toilet, plumbing leaks that damaged personal belongings, a broken disposal, unlocked sliding doors, and an ongoing ant infestation that affected our food. We lost a significant amount of vacation time coordinating cleaners, maintenance, and plumbers. We also discovered an undisclosed camera which we reported directly to Airbnb. The location and layout were great, but the home’s condition and constant issues made this one of our most stressful Airbnb stays.”
