“I’ve never left a somewhat bad review of an Airbnb before. But unfortunately, this experience called for it! When we first checked in, the host messaged me and let us know the trash next to the front door would be picked up at some point that day. We stayed 2 days and no one came for the trash. There was probably…. 10-15 bags of trash that, as you can probably imagine, smelled bad and were infested with flies. Said flies were making their way inside anytime we opened the front door. Based on the amount of trash, I imagine it hadn’t been grabbed in a while. The other thing is the front gate is broken! You can just open it without entering the code. Again, I messaged the host. He said someone would be by in a couple of hours to fix it…. No one came. Based on the damage of the gate, it’s probably been broken for awhile. And the neighborhood is.. sketchy to say the least. The gate needs to be fixed. Inside was clean besides the fly issue. Spacious. Beds were comfortable. Amenities good”

“Decent stay with the host. Check in was unsatisfactory but that was because we wanted to be early and communication on this was not great. Main concern was the lock for the door at the entrance was broken the whole stay. Some lights also failed to work and weren’t fixed. The host was however generous with extensions, flexible with checkout times and pretty responsive which was very much appreciated.”

“Great place for a large group! My family and I stayed 2 nights and was super close to Uc Berkley as it was graduation weekend 🥳🥳 Team is very responsive and sent very clear instructions”

“Had a great stay plenty of room, if your trying to be close to SF without spending boatloads of money this was a good spot tad bit farther than you might think but had very few hiccups in commute. Not a place to walk around at night “it’s Oakland for Christ sake” literal quote from my uber driver. But definitely pleasant stay and a great experience.”
