, I am posting this because we never received an answer from the owner. We would like some consideration for the many issues we found in the house. We have not posted this anywhere but would like to give you an opportunity to respond first. The stay started on a positive note with us being allowed to check in early at no charge. It has a nice view of the bay. The trees downhill of the property have obviously grown significantly so the view is not unobstructed but still expansive. There are, however, so many small issues with the property, that it really degrades the quality of the stay. Main floor- The main room had the couch pit pushed against the wall opposite the tv and fireplace and half the room in front of it was just empty. There was no dining table. There were only 4 barstools. Really not possible to have a community/family meal. This was a family gathering. The ad for the property said up to 10 people. Not sure how this was imagined. No microwave. What house in

My band stayed here for a little getaway while we recording in Oakland. Perfect spot to relax and hangout before and after sessions.

This Airbnb has great potential but falls short of expectations. The house is recently remodeled and the beds are reasonably comfortable. However, the overall experience lacks attention to detail and functionality. This is the first Airbnb I’ve stayed in with no proper dining table, which was inconvenient for a home advertised to host up to 10 people. The living room layout was also limiting; we had to bring in outdoor chairs just to seat four people together. Kitchenware was minimal and inconsistent, and a microwave was missing. There were also practical issues. The property required a separate security deposit and ID verification outside the Airbnb app, which was not clearly disclosed. Access is through a hard-to-find alley rather than directly on the listed street, and no clear instructions were provided. Climate control was insufficient, with AC only downstairs and not effectively cooling the house. Showers had weak, pulsating water flow and could only be used one at a time.
