“We had one of the best summer vacations we've had in a long time, and this place was a big reason why. The hosts were warm and welcoming from the start, and Oscar, who manages the property, made everything easy — communication was perfect throughout. There's something really peaceful about staying in a yurt. It slows you down in the best way. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and the setting is special: a private retreat surrounded by exotic fruit trees and gardens, with great views of the Bay, all still within Oakland city limits. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly, and you're close to breweries, restaurants, cafés, parks, and several grocery stores. We even got invited to the community bonfire, which made us feel like we belonged there. We'd recommend this to any traveler who wants a stay that feels like an experience rather than just a place to sleep. We'd come back in a heartbeat.”
