“The cabin is in a great location. Close to town so getting to restaurants and grocery shopping is easy. It’s in a more rural area so driving at night can be difficult. It’s about an hour from Yosemite south entrance which is nice. The cabin did have a home like feeling which was nice. There were plenty of beds for everyone (although some more comfortable than others). The kitchen did have everything one would need if cooking. The bathrooms are also great but only one person can shower at a time or there’s no hot water. The only negative thing is that when we arrived, immediately there was a strong smell of something bad in the living room. Which made it uncomfortable to sit and relax there because of the pungent smell. We couldn’t figure it out until the very last day when we were packing up and cleaning that we noticed the excessive amount of rat poop under the couches. There was food wrappers, kid toys, outside debris and rat poop. Obvious they don’t clean there often.”

“Nothing special, location is ideal though for the park”

“We planned to stay at Kim's place from 9/12-9/15. Once we checked in, we noticed a strong musky smell upon opening the front door. I opened all windows and ran the bathroom fan hoping it would air out before bedtime. We left for Yosemite and came back that night to the same strong odor. It hits you as soon as you open the front door. I messaged Kim to see if there could be a resolution. We weren't able to wait for her response and decided to reach out to Airbnb support an hour later. The smell caused a severe reaction in my fiancé and we had to vacate. Airbnb did refund us fully for our stay since we couldn't even stay one night. After reviewing other reviews for this property, I didn't see any mentioning odor but did see some in 2023 mentioning leaks from the roof. I'm leaving this review to document this specific issue for others.”
