“The communication could be better. I did a small load of laundry on the second day in the morning and the washer flooded the apartment. Maintenance was slow to take care of the issue. My things got wet and I soaked every towel I had available to dry up the floor. Washer didn’t work the rest of the stay and the communication wasn’t great after that. The host did bring new towels but wasn’t the best experience. If the washer wouldn’t have broke the stay would have been more pleasant.”

“If you’re thinking about booking this location I would keep looking for other options. Not only is the description of the property inaccurate the property owner is not very friendly and will just disregard any issues you have and tell you “Most people don’t have issues with this place but some do. It’s a prime location, the Marriott across the street goes for $400 a night.” Well I would happily pay the $400 to not deal with this place again. The place is filthy and most items in the unit are run down. The floors are dirty and sticky leaving feet and socks black. All surfaces looked like they were wiped down with a greasy rag. This unit is VERY minimally stocked making it hard if your staying for more then a few days and planning to cook meals. The few dishes that were there, half of them were dirty and needed to be washed. There was dirty laundry left under our bed and opened half eaten chocolate in the nightstand. The master bed was broken. The toilet in the master bathroom needs rep”

“What a magnificent view! At night we tracked the flights landing and taking off from LAX (10 mins away by car) 
. Whether for 1 night or for a month, this apartment is THE place to stay in Marina del Rey! It’s an easy 10 min walk to Venice Beach, a 25 min walk via the Venice canals to trendy Abbott-Kinney Blvd - and nothing beats a walk (or 2 or 3) around the glorious marinas to clear the mind and lift the soul! There are some excellent cafes nearby; we recommend Alana’s Coffee Roasters on Pacific Ave. We had everything we needed in the apartment, and we were able to prep, cook and store the basics (pasta, eggs, veggie stews, toast, salads, snacks) in the kitchen. In all, we were comfortable, clean, and we felt very safe, being a few floors up in the building. Our host was super prompt and responsive.”
