“The communication could be better. I did a small load of laundry on the second day in the morning and the washer flooded the apartment. Maintenance was slow to take care of the issue. My things got wet and I soaked every towel I had available to dry up the floor. Washer didn’t work the rest of the stay and the communication wasn’t great after that. The host did bring new towels but wasn’t the best experience. If the washer wouldn’t have broke the stay would have been more pleasant.”

“Brilliant location, but it’s a shame they don’t make a little bit more effort. The place is in need of a little TLC - the bathroom is just unpleasant and the outdoor space is full of cobwebs, bugs and the furniture is falling apart. It wouldn’t take much to make the place feel comfortable.”

“House location is great. Home needs severe maintenance everywhere - the bed is junk, makes noise and is a U shape. The TV in the bedroom is old and missing a remote.”

“If you’re thinking about booking this location I would keep looking for other options. Not only is the description of the property inaccurate the property owner is not very friendly and will just disregard any issues you have and tell you “Most people don’t have issues with this place but some do. It’s a prime location, the Marriott across the street goes for $400 a night.” Well I would happily pay the $400 to not deal with this place again. The place is filthy and most items in the unit are run down. The floors are dirty and sticky leaving feet and socks black. All surfaces looked like they were wiped down with a greasy rag. This unit is VERY minimally stocked making it hard if your staying for more then a few days and planning to cook meals. The few dishes that were there, half of them were dirty and needed to be washed. There was dirty laundry left under our bed and opened half eaten chocolate in the nightstand. The master bed was broken. The toilet in the master bathroom needs rep”

“This was one of the most stressful and uncomfortable Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. First, the check-in was delayed and the host blamed it on traffic. Communication was inconsistent and unclear from the beginning. But the real issue happened during my stay when legal eviction documents started being served at the apartment door. An officer came to the property three different times to serve the eviction papers. One of the times a large package of legal documents was left at the door. During one of these visits, the person serving the papers told me I should not even be staying there because the apartment is currently in an eviction process. He took my name and said I could possibly be mentioned in the court case. This situation was extremely embarrassing and stressful because I had family visiting and we were preparing for my sister’s wedding that same day. When you are dealing with such an important family event, the last thing you expect is to find out the place you booked may”

““Excellent location, the house is very comfortable and cozy. You don’t need a car — everything you need is just a 3-minute walk away. Very safe neighborhood. You have a Trader Joe’s just a 4-minute walk away.” “The only thing I would add is that communication took a little longer than usual.” “We reached out to ask about a remote control for the bedroom TV, but we didn’t receive any response. “Everything advertised on the website about the house is accurate.””

“1. Arrived at the apartment and it reeked of cigarette 2. The soaps were $1.50 for a place in Beverly Hills. 3. The coffee maker had a leak, so I spent the afternoon cleaning water everywhere in the kitchen. 4. The place is not well maintained, even though it is well staged. It could use new blinds as a lot of light comes in, the pillows are the cheapest you can find in target 5. The building is almost next to the hospital, you will hear sirens at night. 6. On top of that, my unit had no electricity the morning after I arrived , which I tried to fix with my host, and they couldn’t relay a prompt response nor provide a solution so I had to cancel the reservation and leave, without another place to stay late at night. It was a nightmare for me.”

“Great location, but the apartment is neglected. If you wish to use the kitchen, you will need to wash the utensils, knives, etc. There were only a few worn out pieces of disorganized cookware. We bought a pan and left it there. The bathroom door would neither shut nor lock. The bathroom and kitchen floors were dirty as were the chrome legs of the chipped coffee table. The mattress was too soft and needed to be replaced. The curtain rod in the bedroom was dislodged and pulled away from the wall. The chest of drawers was missing a handle and falling apart. A closet cabinet door was torn away from its hinges. The shabby kitchen cabinets didn’t fit properly and needed paint. Numerous pots, pieces of lamps, etc. cluttered the floor next to the smoke stained fireplace. That said, the apartment is conveniently close to Beverly Hills, the design center, and Santa Monica Boulevard nightlife. This place has the potential to be a winner, but it’s a NO GO. We left a day early.”
