Our group stayed here for a weekend in Mammoth. The unit is exceptionally large, the game room was a huge hit, and the kitchen is well-stocked with plates and pans for group meals. However, upkeep and supplies were severely lacking. The floors were visibly dirty and clearly hadn't been mopped in a long time. They also under-stocked daily consumables for a large group; we quickly ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher pods. The dealbreaker—and why we won't return—was the lack of internet. The check-in sheet blamed an 'intermittent' connection on the unit's 'remoteness.' This is disingenuous. It was non-existent. We've stayed all over Mammoth without issues, and my cell had blazing-fast service. Because the TVs are app-based, they were useless. Worse, our app-based baby monitor couldn't connect, creating a massive inconvenience. Despite the spacious layout, the dirty floors, stingy supplies, and lack of WiFi ruined the experience.

The location is the strongest asset of this place. It was just about the closest you could get to Canyon lodge. The memory foam mattress was so comfortable, and there were abundant pillows and blankets. However, there were no bath towels in the unit, so we had to go to the front desk in a different building to pick them up.

RENTER BEWARE- I’ll start with the pros bcuz this place was overall worth the trouble, truly. -looked exactly like the pictures, it’s adorable, well decorated, clean, enclosed parking garage with assigned space for your small car(height requirement is accurate) -it’s absolutely walkable to CHAIR 16/canyon lodge, it’s an uphill walk but we grabbed our gear & just walked up to the snow, right onto the lift! CONS: -this unit is run by some Ai weird 3rd party company called red awning (there is no “host”, no live person to speak with) then the building the unit is in is ALSO run by some automated phone system, you cannot get ahold of anyone. The “onsite” manager office closes sharply at 5pm so if you arrive even a few min after, you cannot get in without a lot of trouble. -trying to contact customer service thru Airbnb, RedAwning, or the building itself was impossible, we only got in because someone who lived there helped us access the lockbox. Just overall, rent with caution…
