“Pros: Definitely a prefect distance to walk to the beach, and returning home felt private and quiet. We appreciated the spacious bedrooms upstairs and used the grill and backyard a lot. Having the 2 car garage was a huge sigh of relief after driving through traffic and tight spaces! I have severe fragrance/perfume sensitivities, and this place is 99% fragrance free, which is rare for Airbnbs. Yay! Cons: As others have noted, there is an ant problem. Ants don’t bother me too much, but I was irritated by the tools I had at my disposal to clean our crumbs (and sand). The broom was comically small and the vacuum looked enormous and cumbersome. I could have mitigated the ants better if I could have swept up more efficiently! It is quite warm in kitchen and family room, esp as day goes on. We were there during a “heat wave”, so that didn’t help. The AC units are in bedrooms. Unfortunately the washing machine broke mid cycle on us. Hopefully it gets repaired for the next guests!”
