“This was an absolute dream stay. The total 70’s vibe that made me feel like I was a kid again! You cannot beat the location. It’s so nice to be so close to the action but also easy to just keep private. We will stay here again every single time!”

“It was my family’s 3rd visit which should speak volumes. It has been so much fun to experience the same space year over year as our young daughter gets older. This year, she loved waking up in the morning to watch the geese land on the lake — taking note of whether the water was rough or still. Great memories. Special thanks to our hosts for accommodating us on very short notice. We hope to return next year.”

“Return guests which should say a lot. The location is wonderful. On the lake and an easy stroll to coffee and restaurants. The interior is dated but that’s a part of the charm. Upgraded kitchen appliances and service ware would be welcome. And maybe a sturdy broom for the seed pods that fall from the tree onto the deck during the spring. Other than those minor issues, no notes. Hope to return again next year.”

“Want the good news or bad news, first? The Good: Stunning location directly situated on King’s Beach & easy to find/access. Close to town w/ unmatched views & a breathtaking pier. Postcard vibes. The Bad: The management company associated w/ this residence is insufferably bad at what they do & express little/no interest in making you feel a valued guest. Their comms are terse and uncourteous. When asked where our 7 person party (w/ toddler) could locate additional toilet paper/towels, they informed us they only stock each bathroom w/ 1 roll as other guests “have taken them” & suggested we go buy our own. Excuse me?? It’s ok though - we just wiped our butts w/ our bare hands. Home itself has immense rustic charm but the infrastructure is OLD and upgrades are needed. The stove and oven are prehistoric & the couch is akin to sleeping on a park bench. These are basic requirements for comfort. In summary - fire the management co & upgrade the basics & it’s damn near perfect.”

“Our family enjoyed the stay! The access to the lake and pier was awesome! The home was overly warm while trying to sleep at night, due to the very cold conditions outside and the need to keep the home at 50° or above to prevent pipes from freezing. Sleeping downstairs was challenging due to the extreme creakiness of the flooring above when family was walking around on the top floor. We would absolutely stay here again!”
