Vacation Tahoe

“The place is so cozy. The house has everything we need for a weekend getaway, a great water pressure, fully equipped kitchen and lots of towel. One small complaint would be, the whole house has creaky noises. No matter how soft the person above walks, the one who sleeps on the ground floor can hear everything.”

“We had a great stay! The small private beach is lovely and just a short drive from the house. We also really enjoyed the pool, tennis, and pickleball courts. One thing to note: bring your own kayaks, paddle boards, and bocce set, as the house doesn’t provide them. We’d definitely love to come back!”

“Just an exceptional stay! The condo was so comfortable and spacious for our family of 4 + kids’ friends. It is beautifully decorated and allowed for memorable meals, relaxing days and peaceful sleeps. Rocky Ridge is just wonderful, especially the well maintained tennis courts and pool, and the beach club is just next level! We had such a lovely vacation and would highly recommend this condo!”

“Alef's quaint cabin was clean, comfortable and it has a great backyard! A perfect place to visit, relax, and enjoy the quaint town of Tahoe City which is a short drive away. We'll go back for sure!”

“My experience with this host was disappointing. After my stay, the host claimed that I caused damage to the bed comforter and refrigerator drawers and is charging me $600 for the alleged damage. I believe these claims are false, as I treated the property with care throughout my stay and did not cause the damage being claimed. It was frustrating to be accused of something I did not do and to face a significant charge without what I consider to be convincing evidence. I would encourage future guests to thoroughly document the condition of the property with photos or videos at both check-in and check-out to help protect themselves from similar situations. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a negative impression of the host. Due to the way this situation was handled, I would not choose to stay at this property again.”

“Condo was clean and had adequate room for 7 people. Gate code is needed for check in which we found out we needed when we arrived. I only saw one of the pools that was shown in the photos- not sure where the larger one was located. Also 2 of my children got electrocuted from the bear protector so beware. Information about it was in the book but giving a warning ahead of time would have been helpful. Condo is located up a steep hill with beautiful views when you drive up however beach is a drive away which I did not realize.”
