Spacious and comfortable with good amenities! A close walk to the water, food, and grocery!

The location is right off the highway. Restaurants are conveniently located within walking distance. It is not a home. It must have been a run down hotel converted into an AirBnb. Lacked amenities. i.e. Keuring coffee maker available but no pods. No ice maker or ice trays. Hot water was not available all the time. It was great for the first person to shower however, no hot water for the next few folks. Paid almost $4,000 for two nights for 20 people. Could have find better hotel with amenities near by.

Great place to stay for skiing near Palisades or Northstar resorts. The home was spacious for 4 with 2 pull out couch beds. But we found kitchen had limited utensils and cutlery, no can opener. Also no blankets or towels for 4, just only 2 people.

The rental was easy to get into and it was especially helpful that there was a keypad entry. The inside of the cabin was very clean and there were enough towels for each guest. When driving towards Northstar resort, there was significantly less traffic since this apartment is located in the more favorable direction of traffic. The only mild issues that we dealt with were that there was quite a bit of snow getting into the driveway at night, which seemed a little bit dangerous. You definitely want to have an all-wheel-drive vehicle. The metal expansion and contraction inside of the HVAC did cause a little bit of clicking at night when we were trying to stay warm - it might be a good idea to bring earplugs for sleeping. The air can be a bit dry so make sure to stay moisturized and hydrated. Next time I snowboard at Tahoe, I will surely be booking this Airbnb again.

I was a little hesitant to book after reading some of the previous reviews, which felt pretty negative. However, my experience was different. I think it is important to consider the price in relation to the location. I came primarily to snowboard and wanted to stay close to Palisades Tahoe, and for that purpose this place made a lot of sense. It was fairly priced for being so convenient to the resort. I was not looking for luxury, I just needed a roof over my head while riding, and it served that purpose well. What really stood out to me was the management group. During my stay, I unexpectedly had to go to the hospital. They responded immediately, were incredibly kind, and even helped take care of my pup while I was gone. That level of compassion and responsiveness meant a lot to me during a stressful situation. Overall, if you are coming to ski or snowboard and want to be close to Palisades at a reasonable price, this is a solid option.
