“This property is spacious and well-located, with easy access to what North Lake Tahoe has to offer. The living room is comfortable, the deck was lovely, and the kitchen is well-stocked and easy to use. One quirk is the master bath. The tub/shower combo has an extremely high entry point: anyone who is not agile or has short legs might find this daunting (the couple using this went from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor to shower). We did, unfortunately, have some problems during our stay: an unreachable broken smoke alarm, and a bed that immediately collapsed on us the first night, causing a very uncomfortable night. The “fix” the next day was not completely stable, and we were unhappy with the paltry refund they offered. Thankfully, Airbnb resolved that issue for us. Bottom line: it’s a beautiful, spacious, well-located property with questionable maintenance oversight. I wish we had not had to spend so much of our precious vacation time dealing with the management company.”

“We chose this place due to mobility issues.Found UNMAINTAINED POOR INTERIOR,limb & potentially life-threatening issues for children & vulnerable adults. Day1: 1.Dislodged Shower hot tap knob,fixed day day 3 yielding unpredictable scalding flow 2.Shower sliding door immobile(fixed day 6) 3.Bifold Bathroom door fell off hinges on us,stuck to floor even post repair 4.Bedroom wardrobe sliding door fell off rails,remained unusable 5.Toaster slot stuck,burns bread,smoke & fire risk 6. Mini Oven:Broken temperature metal knob,risk of shock 7. Broken Dining chair arms(fixed)+bedroom chair(not fixed) 8. Exposed electric socket>shock risk(ok now) 9.Filthy torn old lounge sofa+dirty balcony outdoor upholstery. Hideous coiled,rolled small black hand towels 11. Awful pots-pans 12.Absent oven gloves,tin opener,bin liners,toilet rolls (supplied day3) 13.Bedcastors unlockable,slid off floor(fixed) 14.Printer old Faults & Repairs ruined our stay & mental peace, Refund: Unsatisfactory *Host aware”

“We booked this property for the lakefront location, and while the setting itself is beautiful, the stay was disappointing overall because of a major issue with the home. The water management system appears to be malfunctioning — about every hour the water shuts off and the system needs to be manually reset. At night, you either leave it on and deal with loud beeping that wakes everyone up, or turn it off completely, which means no dishwasher, washer, or even reliable bathroom use overnight. This is a significant issue that materially impacts the stay and should either be fixed or clearly disclosed upfront. Also for a property at this price point, the overall experience felt lacking. There were also no board games, cards, or books — small touches that are pretty standard in comparable Tahoe rentals. The location itself is excellent: right on the lake, private, and very convenient to Kings Beach. The views from the deck are great, and the home is spacious and comfortable.”
