I recommend booking with an actual homeowner vs an agency. The communication came from too many people and there was miscommunication across the board because of it. The home was okay but the communication with Casago was more difficult than any other Airbnb host I’ve used.

We paid almost $8000 for our stay from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning. When we arrived, the house only had three bedrooms, when it was advertised to have four. This resulted in two people needing to share a room when they were expecting to have their own rooms. We were able to receive a partial refund for the false advertising. Additionally, the pool was not heated. We were told that it’s a daily charge and takes 48 hours to heat up, so we did not use the pool. The outdoor fireplace was also inaccessible. We were not provided the entrance code before our check in time, so we had to call the phone line to enter the house. Two of the three bedrooms were small with small beds and very little room to place suitcases. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. Overall, we felt like we were overcharged for the house and amenities offered. We would have expected that the pool at least be heated for the cost per night.
