“Overall a very pleasant stay and we love the place.”

“That said, like other guests have mentioned, the photos don't quite reflect what the home actually looks like. There was also an electrical issue in the bathroom, and the light wouldn't turn off properly. Before our stay, I reached out with a simple question. It was my daughter's 16th birthday getaway, and I asked if I could use painter's tape to hang a birthday sign. I was asking precisely because I wanted to respect the house rules, but I received several automated messages firmly restating them. That set the tone for our stay, and we found it hard to fully relax, worried about accidentally breaking a rule, especially around quiet hours. We're always respectful of neighbors, but the overall approach felt excessive. Unfortunately, we wouldn't book again. We'd prefer a place where we can simply enjoy our time without that stress.”

“Wonderful house for a relaxing week in Tahoe!!! 🌲 Just as described in the photos and description. Aspens and pines in the yard and neighborhood create the most peaceful setting. The hammock is also 100000/10! Access to the dock was superb, too. All that being said… WiFi was unreliable, there was dog/pet hair all over all the linens, couches, and blankets, and there were odd necessities like trash bags missing. Lastly, the property management company is not good and notorious for not being responsive so just be aware of that going into your stay. It’s a much worse and more cumbersome experience than just booking direct from a real person/family. Assuming nothing critical goes wrong, I still think this place is worth staying at. It’s a peaceful home away from home.”

“Beautiful place! The pictures are def more fancy than the reality but did not disappoint. So nice to have a gate at the top of the stairs for my toddlers! As other reviewers mentioned, it’s very noisy in the bedrooms when people are moving around upstairs, but i brought a sound machine for my kids since I knew what to expect and it was no problem. Lovely outdoor patio, not very walkable but a short drive to many things.”

“This property is wonderful for families that love to be active. The location is by the best biking and hiking trails. Tahoe Pines beach is a 5 minute walk and Sunnyside and Chambers are each about 3 miles away. You can't ask for more!”
