“The lake home was a true paradise! I've grown up on the lake since childhood and have dreamed of such a classic Tahoe home for years. This home fulfilled that dream. It is truly "the secret garden" on the lake. We enjoyed a perfect family reunion with three generations of family members.....the venue dazzled all! The owners family history on the walls was so wonderful and appreciated. We would love to come back every year!”

“I wanted to love this house. The main issue was noise pollution. The house looks like the photos, though the outdoor sitting area was a little dingy and could use some cleaning. The bigger problem is that the house sits right in front of a main road, and the traffic noise was jarring- genuinely one of the loudest situations I've experienced at a rental. To get to the private-ish beach shown in the photos, we had to time it perfectly and race across the street so as not to get hit by cars speeding down the road. With kids, that is not advisable. The lake view is pretty, but it's constantly interrupted by cars driving right in front of it. I'm not exaggerating when I say we couldn't sit outside and hold a conversation, the traffic noise simply drowned us out. Overall the house itself is fine. Nothing spectacular. It is run down and could use some upgrades. It's important to note that there are three bedrooms upstairs that all share one bathroom. We made it work and had a fun time.”

“We stayed here for 4 nights for a swimming event in Tahoe. The house was cozy and spotless. The space around had beautiful trees and wildflowers. From close beaches to bike trails, it made a perfect staycation for our group.”

“Wonderful location and great lake access with a big backyard and private dock. BBQ was put to good use and the generous amount of water toys from kayaks to paddle boards were enjoyed by all. The restaurant located across the street was excellent too. Access to Tahoe City for groceries and errands was close by which is nice compared more remote areas of Tahoe. We would definitely return again as the lake access and peaceful setting are hard to beat.”
