“Very strange check-in and hosting experience. Unlock instructions did not match the door hardware at all. BYO hand soap, cooking oil, replacement TP, etc. — they do not provide. Salt and pepper shakers had no salt or pepper. Photos were very inaccurate — my small and windowless bedroom had a gigantic bed with little room to move around it. Balcony was spacious with a nice view although strangely it had no outdoor furniture, no place to sit. Can’t say there’s much I loved about the place.”

“It’s extremely loud right next to a busy road, worn out, with zero pots or pans. We were reading reviews about noise and being on 1st floor, so I reached out about that concern before booking. My booking was contingent on it not being on a loud road as we have a 6 month old who will wake up. The host assured me “this unit is a courtyard view. So I booked based on this info. Walked in, immediately heard loud traffic, reviewed apartment and checked out. Was still charged $1280 out of my $10,000 monthly stay despite not staying a single day. Anton Menlo is a very nice complex with good amenities but this unit itself is less than ideal with a young child. If you have an issue on a Friday or weekend - good luck! You’ll get transferred all over the world.”
