With just a little extra attention to tidying up the sitting area and cleaning away the leaves and spider webs in the children’s play zone, it could become even more welcoming for guests.”

“The location is not as described. The house is described as being 'just steps from Encinitas beach'. It is definitely not. It is about a mile walk to the beach access steps and there are 100 of them to negotiate before reaching the beach! It is described as being 'the perfect place to relax and unwind' and 'a calm retreat' but there is a train line behind the house which is very noisy as trains run throughout the day and night. On arrival, there were no written instructions or recommendations, only a QR code which didn't work and said 'QR Code inactive, contact the administrator'. We advised Funtierland but nothing was done. There were two showers in the house but for the first night and day only one of them worked; it was thermostatically temperamental resulting in us having to queue to shower in order to maintain the temperature. In the end, my husband (a chartered engineer) was able to get the other shower to work, much to Funtierland's relief.”

“This is a great home for large families! There is no need to leave the home. There is plenty to do, volleyball, basketball, air hockey etc. The fence around the property and main gate are a huge plus! This is the second year our whole family comes! We enjoyed our stay!”
