“We booked a 5 night stay, stayed the first night (got in after dark) and left asking for a full refund the next morning. The house is really, really run down. Rusty lights, towel bar fell off in my hand, all furniture looks like it came out of a college frat house. Not exactly 2 twin beds… just a bunk bed that’s been pulled apart with safety siding left on. Obvious water leak under fridge w areas that look moldy. But the biggest issue is the safety. The main sliding door in the back of the house has no lock and is easily accessible to anyone walking by, no gates. There were warped wooden dowels placed in the bottom as a locking system. One story above is the sliding door for the master which has no lock and not even a dowel. Literally no way to lock it. Many of the windows were broken including some in the front of the house on street level. I spent hours having to document issues to get a refund and then trying to book a new spot for 4 people to stay… don’t stay here.”

“Overall this was a pretty disappointing stay. Between the clear neglect of the property, the need to request promised amenities on two separate occasions, and the lack of quality of some of the amenities at the property(beach equipment, grill), I wish we had chosen another space. When we arrived there were a number of broken or damaged items such as screen doors, kitchen cabinets, deck chairs and blinds. The entire property was very rundown and clearly not well maintained. The walls were visibly dirty, the windows are all very old and hard to open and lock, the blinds in the one room are covered in visible mold. The deck contains broken chairs, random broken decorative items, and a clearly out of use grill that has no purpose other than being an eye sore. The grill that does work ran out of gas on the first use. The deck itself was dirty and left your feet black if you walked on it barefoot. For a house that sleeps 7, we were provided 3 beach towels. More were delivered upon request on the second day of our trip. There are also only 3 extremely rundown beach chairs. There was also no hair dryer, although it was listed, but a new one was also delivered upon request. While I appreciate the quick response I didn’t enjoy having to constantly contact them for basic amenities. The dishes and cookware were pretty disgusting and needed to be cleaned prior to use. The dishwasher left a white film on everything after use. The offsite check in and checkout were just another added annoyance in an underwhelming stay. The only thing this property delivered on was location and view, which was admittedly beautiful. I’d still recommend spending your money elsewhere.”
