“Great area”

“Unfortunately, I would not recommend this Airbnb. Upon arrival, the property was completely dark, with no exterior lighting or address displayed on our building. The address was on the adjacent property, so we went to the wrong door, entered the code three times, and triggered a burglar alarm. Thankfully, my daughter suggested trying next door. Once inside, I discovered there was no hot water in the upstairs shower, and the electrical outlets upstairs didn’t work. Maintenance was offered, but I wasn’t comfortable having an unfamiliar man come in while staying with my daughter. The nearest coffee shop or restaurant was also at least a 20-minute walk away. Finally, I accidentally left a dress behind and was told I needed to provide a prepaid, self-addressed envelope AND pay an additional $50 fee to have it returned. Overall, a disappointing experience with poor accessibility, maintenance issues, and unreasonable charges. I would not stay here again.”

“The location is closer to Torrey Pines Beach rather than Del Mar Beach. The clean pool and spacious living room was a nice feature for our family. The backyard is peaceful, private and surrounded by beautiful landscape but the furniture cushions need to be replaced as some were ripped and worn. The upstairs rooms need updating--the mattresses were not comfortable, the floor rug in the master BR was a tripping hazard and the shower handle broke off during use. The cupboard had dirty dishes and were not properly washed clean. We did enjoy our stay but it would've been nicer if the conditions were better.”

“Never to be repeated. Terrible experience from arrival to a complete mess, to negotiations of a fair deal. Avoid this agency and their properties at all costs. I, for one, am done with AirBnB because of this experience as well. I doubt this review will even get posted. Bye”
