“The location is NOT as advertised - it’s a 12-15 min walk to the beach. I chose this unit based on its name (“5 min to Venice Beach”) and general position on the map (along Washington Ave). This was confirmed by the address provided right after booking. However, during check in, the host messaged me with a completely different address, an 8 min walk away. Their only response to this was “Airbnb shows the main building; we are in building 4”. Why was it listed with the wrong location? And why wait until check-in day to tell me? 12 minutes is not a terrible walk, of course, but the dishonesty is frustrating. The unit itself is just ok; safe, spacious and fairly clean but generally drab and missing some important items: tissues, drawers, luggage stands (since no drawers), salt/pepper, kitchen towels, rugs. Bedroom lighting is dim. The parking spot is small and against a wall - the car can only be exited from one side once parked. An ok but disappointing stay. Know what you are getting!”

“all was great with the rentals except one thing that caused a lot of trouble for us. we received one one pair of keys to the apartment. now the apartment is very modern and you need to pass multiple scanners to get in and out and anywhere in the building. with the group of 8 it was a nightmare to coordinate that with this one set. also making almost impossible to leave according to instructions. we asked for a second set and the owner agreed to provide it but the person working for them never showed up with the keys. apart from that location, description, neighborhood, facility was great”

“The stay was amazing. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and tidy. All the facilities listed were available. The location of the stay is an added advantage as it is very close to the beach. The only negative was that the dryer was not working, and even after informing the host, it was not fixed. Apart from that, I would highly recommend this studio.”
