“We had a great stay! The apartment is a one-bedroom, but it’s very spacious, clean, comfortable and really practical. The location was perfect for us, especially as it was within walking distance of Venice Beach. We really enjoyed being able to walk around and explore the area. Overall, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay.”

“One of the worst and weirdest experiences I’ve had yet. We got in very late and the very next morning management from the apartment complex came knocking on our door and served us with a trespass notice telling us that we are not aloud on the property because that unit is being illegal rented as an Airbnb. So we had to leave the property immediately. The host did not answer our desperate messege fpr hours until after we escalated with Airbnb app. (After 3 hours). The Airbnb host was noticeably upset that we had escalated and told us to be out in a hour because the cleaning lady was coming then canceled and blocked us so we couldnt attempt to contact them again. Never been through anything like that. It was very embarrassing. The next day the host somehow unblocked me and sent me a message telling me they’re charging me $100 for a lost item. Out of retaliation. I sincerely do not recommend this Airbnb based on my experience.”

“Enjoyed the property. Dryer wasn’t working, it wasn’t fixed when we were there. Prior review a month earlier stated the same. Outside of that, great place to stay!”

“The location is NOT as advertised - it’s a 12-15 min walk to the beach. I chose this unit based on its name (“5 min to Venice Beach”) and general position on the map (along Washington Ave). This was confirmed by the address provided right after booking. However, during check in, the host messaged me with a completely different address, an 8 min walk away. Their only response to this was “Airbnb shows the main building; we are in building 4”. Why was it listed with the wrong location? And why wait until check-in day to tell me? 12 minutes is not a terrible walk, of course, but the dishonesty is frustrating. The unit itself is just ok; safe, spacious and fairly clean but generally drab and missing some important items: tissues, drawers, luggage stands (since no drawers), salt/pepper, kitchen towels, rugs. Bedroom lighting is dim. The parking spot is small and against a wall - the car can only be exited from one side once parked. An ok but disappointing stay. Know what you are getting!”
