“The house definitely looks a lot nicer in the photos. Food residue on the fridge & on the counters. The dishwasher wasn’t secured properly into the cabinets, cupboards falling apart, exposed staples, knobs broken & missing, the toaster knobs stuck. No hot pads, only one stained kitchen towel, no sheet pan/cookie sheet. Rugs were all badly curling, furniture was stained. Glass shower doors not properly installed in the tracks and looked like they would fall, so we only used one bathroom. The back door was broken and was incredibly difficult to get it to shut and lock. The extra “safety lock” for the back door was a broken metal broom handle. Outside there is no grass, all weeds and burrs that we had to pick out of our dog’s fur, trash scattered. The pool net to clean was broken, the sitting area was falling apart. Aside from giving the wrong address, host was responsive and did ask if anything was needed, but for safety we choose to not have visits when staying with kids.”
