“I actually had a great time staying here while I was in town visiting family this is a nice place to stay when you’re in town it was nice and clean inside a cool area not loud very peaceful I liked it a lot 😉”

“15 minutes after our check in time, we were told the previous guests had made a big mess (not sure how they hadn’t realized that until then?) and we ended up having to wait until about an hour and a half after our check in time to get in. The house generally seemed clean, but the floors left my socks filthy. Beware if you have any fragrance sensitivity: some rooms and beds/pillows REEKED like a very strong room spray. Especially after all our travel, all I wanted was to take a nap and it was nauseating. All the furniture was cheap and beds were thin and uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I woke each other up all night, every time we moved. The faucets and shower heads were covered in calcium deposits, making them look dirty, and the watered-down shampoo and body wash in the showers were slimy with mold. Forget about the “yoga room”- it’s just the dark corner of the laundry room. There was an outlet just hanging out of the wall in one of the bedrooms.”

“Upon arrival we had to get rid of a spider. The second night, my nephew was bitten by bed bugs and we were not allowed to use the garage. Overall the place was accommodating to our needs at the time.”

“Everything was mostly fine but the thing that bothered the most was no curtains in the living room window and that window is soo huge and it’s honestly kind of scary being there because you never know if something or someone is watching so privacy was kind of bad and the garage was so full I couldn’t even park my car inside everything else was chill”

“We booked this home because of the backyard shown in the hero photo, yet it looked completely different in person. There were no fence lights, no grass (only weeds), garbage bags in the flower bed, loose nails behind the lounge chairs, broken concrete piled along the fence, worn outdoor rugs with curled corners, old cornhole boards, and four propane tanks on the patio. Inside, the sliding door latch was broken and secured with the pool skimmer pole. The dishwasher wasn't attached to the cabinets and tipped forward when opened. Cabinet knobs were broken or missing, a kitchen drawer was damaged, and the kitchen lacked basic cooking items such as oven mitts, casserole dishes, and baking sheets. When I booked, there were no reviews. After our stay, I found an earlier review describing many of these same issues, which we also experienced.”

“From the beginning I had trepidation about the trip due Elizabeth’s tone and demeanor- I have a problem with a 5 pm check in, a $120 pet fee, and the fact that the location listed was not actually the address of the house. Additionally the communication of house rules was very aggressive, as if we had already done something wrong before even arriving ($15 if you stain a bath towel!!). When we got there, I thought it was fine, but my friends uncovered quite a bit of unclean surfaces and their bed had hair in it. The broken glass and rusted nails in the back yard were a problem as well, as we had a toddler with us. The garage was in pretty unacceptable condition- with more trash in it. After lots of back and forth Elizabeth refused any financial recompense. The whole ordeal just left me feeling like I wanted a hotel. Felt like just another airbnb host trying to put in as minimal amount of work as possible, to make as much money as possible. The whole thing left me feeling cruddy.”

“Staying at Elizabeth’s is like you never left home. Thats if your home is crawling with spiders, moths, and gnats. And when something breaks? YOU FIX IT! If you find yourself going after partners who don’t respond bc you like the chase? Elizabeth is the perfect host for you! Have you ever wondered what Lava feels like? Just hop into the shower because the only way to get subpar water pressure at best is when it’s at burn your skin off degrees. The batteries in the door lock died on day 2 and she had us opening it and flipping the batteries. When that didn’t work she sent a handyman to drop off batteries for us when we weren’t home to get them, and didn’t notify us the time he would be coming by. She expected us to switch the batteries ourselves. this home is in dire need of updates. If there was an option to give negative stars I would be spam clicking it. I would not allow anyone I know to stay in this house in this neighborhood, unless they like the sound of police sirens.”

“First time I've ever written a negative review. Spartan is a generous description. Location is VERY noisy. Non-stop motor vehicle sounds the entire night. Less than bare minimum items provided. No soap at the kitchen counter, 2 hangers for the entire house, no lamps at the side of the bed only the overhead light with switch on other side of the room, shower head dripping non-stop and could hear it even with the bathroom door closed, a few mismatched glasses, utensils were super thin and barely useable. Every sound echoed in the mostly empty house. Tiny roll of toilet paper (like sandpaper), bottles left in the shower filled with other liquids and NOT useable. Both toilet seats were very old with paint missing (could see brown areas missing white finish) so not hygienic and need to be replaced ASAP. Overall, it's a house with spotty, minimum updates and lots of paint to cover up the original fixtures then rented with minimum furnishings. Maintenance + TLC needed! Left early.”

“A "handyman" entered the code in the front door and entered the house while I was in the shower with my girlfriend. This middle aged Indian man claimed he was there to fix a bathroom light...The host, property manager, "handyman," or even POLICE can't just walk through your front door unexpected and unannounced. He claimed to be at the wrong address and apparently he meant to go to another Airbnb to service the light in their bathroom. Very dangerous "mistake" and extremely creepy and unsettling experience. The house itself is nowhere near clean enough to justify the price. The bed is stained, there are dirty toilet scrubbers just left out in the bathroom, constant bugs everywhere in the house, especially ants that seem impossible to keep out of their kitchen because of an unsealed crack in a window & foul smell of rodent. DON'T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH A 40 YEAR OLD INDIAN MAN WALKING THROUGH YOUR FRONT DOOR WHILE YOU SHOWER.”

“Home is decent and king bed was comfortable I would not recommend any rentals hosted by this person. We arrived at the home an hour early, despite no one being there we were not allowed early check in. Litter was around home front and back yard. The home is very basic, no extras, linens low quality, soap, shampoo, and conditioners were in name brand bottles but were refilled with inferior product. Bare minimum in the kitchen to prepare food. Knives dull, pans worn some rusted, no food storage supplies,zero seasonings. Home is in a bit of a rough neighborhood/area. Home is listed as pet friendly. It is not. I disclosed my pet and paid the non refundable pet deposit. Since checkout the host is charging me an additional $160 on top of regular cleaning fee and pet deposit for dog hair. My dog only had access to 3 rooms, host says deep cleaning was needed due to excessive dog hair I stay at air Bnb with my dog often and have never had an issue My dog is a lab mix so sheds, but not excessive”
