Nice piece. Great location. Team was helpful.

I know California tends to be a pricey place, especially during peak season, but I’m not sure that @$600 a night was reasonable even for this pristine location. The view is absolutely spectacular and the access to the beaches unparallel. I think those were my two favorite things. The unit itself could’ve used some work. I thought the cushions were dirty, especially in the kitchen, and there was very little water pressure in the shower. There is no air conditioning at all, and it was very hot during our stay. Checking in and out was a breeze, which I really appreciated. The hosts checked in frequently, which was nice.

My mom asked me to take her for a lovely and simple beach getaway, and we found a way to get there from the surfliner to take the trip to the next level. As soon as you get there you feel like you are transported into a simpler time. A burger stand up the street called "the spot". Families gathering happily on the beach, kids playing and swimming out to swimmer's platforms. Not an iPad in sight. Our stay at Casago was beyond perfection. The mattresses were soft and accomadating, the rooms were quiet, the kitchen well appointed with everything we needed - water heater, keurig, fridge and so much more. The check in process could not have been simpler, and they even provided a garage clicker so we could enter the secure parking lot. I cannot overstate the sheer luxuriance of being able to get up, make your coffee, then walk out the door and onto the beach. It beats any resort in Hawaii to literally sleep on the shore like this.

I'm guessing the apartment was upgraded my an interior designer - very pretty. I occupied the unit during the heat wave of July, 2026. The ceiling fans were good, but the extra portable fan was a life-saver! Thanks for thinking of that.

Spent the week with my 7 year old grandson, and a close friend and her 9 yo son. We had a fantastic time during our stay being so close to the beach. The kitchen was VERY well stocked and the towels in the bathroom were plenty! Staff on site were attentive, kind, and courteous. Grateful to have a parking spot. It felt safe at all times. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and being able to hear the ocean waves at night. Even though there is no AC, we discovered it isn’t necessary. It was helpful to have wipes for the tar and also access to the faucet outside to rinse off. It is a hidden little gem and would be a place I would stay again!
