“Although I had received a message about needing to contact me on phone prior to checking in instructions I had to chase this a few times until the day before I flew to the US. When I arrived I asked if I could drop my luggage off at 1pm (check in was 4) I was told I could and to return at 4. I got quite a shock that at 1.30pm when I did this , the cleaners had not been in and I had to contact to check what was going on. I was assured they would be in and the place would be spotless I also stressed concern that there was alot of dog hair (I was aware this was pet friendly ) however I did not expect a slight dog smell to be apparent. When I returned to check in at 4.10pm the cleaners were still there. Not a major problem as I wanted it spotless so was happy . How ever I still saw a fair few dog hairs floating around and also did get what I believe to be flea bites (just a few nothing major ). Overall our stay was lovely but I wouldn’t stay in a pet friendly place in future.”

“If it weren’t for the location being directly above the beach (lots of stairs to get to beach), I would’ve given this 2 stars. The pics look way nicer than the actual apartment and the price we paid was astronomical. It’s an outdated property and it’s an apartment. You would expect nice furniture and more comfort for this price. The couch is old and uncomfortable to sit on. We had to put a sheet over it to make it tolerable. The carpet in the main area feels like you are walking on gravel. We thought not having A/C would be fine but the apartment was extremely hot inside and you had to leave the windows and doors open to get breeze which made it very damp and moist inside and the temps weren’t unseasonable. Even at night it didn’t get below 72 inside. They have a strict quiet hours policy yet there are people directly outside the apartment all the way up until 3:00am. You could hear them clear as day because you have to leave the doors and windows open to stay somewhat cool at night.”
