“I wanted to gatekeep this so it won’t be booked solid - but it was too good to do that. This was a rare place in that it exceeded my expectations. Everything was better than the pictures. It was perfect for my family’s reunion! It’s hard to find a place that fits us all, and this fit the bill and more. Almost completely remodeled in a sleek modern beach house style. The location is stellar. Easy walk across the street to a beach we can play and swim in. It’s on a main street, but that wasn’t an issue at all. Would 1000% book again.”

“Pros: 1. Good location 2. Beach view 3. Shared jacuzzi was available and we had a great and relaxing time. 4. Pet friendly. Cons: 1. Unit location is misleading. The address is the main house but the rental units are located on the back of the main property. I saw at least 3 properties but none of them are numbered. I had to call the property manager to find out which one was the unit we were staying at. It took at least 10 minutes to figure everything out. 2. Unit needs to be upgraded. Kitchen cabinets, bathroom, kitchen supplies, window blinds everything outdated. There is no “luxury experience” as advertised. 3. We found some of the Kitchen tools and utensils dirty (dry food and stains) Final thoughts: Overall too pricey for the whole experience.”

“Our three families took our kids to Legoland, and this home was such a great treat for the parents during the trip. It was only about a 35–40 minute drive from the airport, and the location was perfect — just 6 minutes from Legoland and close to several grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The home itself was spacious, incredibly clean, and perfect for a larger group. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and relax after long days at the park. The sheets felt fresh and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Honestly, I cannot express enough how every family commented on how exceptionally clean this Airbnb was. The ocean view from the balcony was amazing, and we loved going for walks every morning. Being able to take the kids down to the beach within minutes was such a highlight of the trip. We also loved being close to downtown Carlsbad and enjoyed eating there much more than at the Legoland Hotel. This home made our trip feel easy, relaxing”

“This place is perfect if you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep, ample couches to sit and lounge and recount fun times at the beach across the street, and eat out at the good restaurants nearby. If you surf, you will love the access. Not the place if you are looking to do a lot of cooking. Warming up, storing things in the fridge, etc. probably not the perfect fit for that scenario.”
