“Had an overall good stay at the property. The place was smaller than we expected and parking was difficult”

“As advertised, this rental is only 4 minutes from the beach. And that's what you pay for. The house, however, is older and well-worn. It has been partially restored but is sub-optimally maintained. The first things you see when you walk in the front door are outdoor furniture in the enclosed front porch that are in tatters. The next thing you see as you enter the living room is an old floor lamp with a bare lightbulb without a shade. The toilet seat in the bathroom is only half bolted on and feels like it's going to fall off. The toilet paper dispenser is barely attached to the wall and dumps the toilet paper roll on the floor when you reach for it. The window in the main bedroom doesn't stay open, which is problematic in summer without air conditioning. The coffee maker takes half an hour to brew a pot of coffee. There's no dishwasher or garbage disposal. Some door knobs are loose and wobbly; others get stuck. We paid almost $600/night but did not get a $600/night accommodation.”

“Decent, but lots left to desire. Really saving grace was location to area shops, bars, restaurants, and ocean. Parking is absolutely terrible. On going construction going on right next door.”

“Good place. Excellent location, overall quiet (did have some construction noise at exactly 8 am every morning but we were awake) For the price great place and stay. 10 minute walk to both Nob Hill & Downtown.”

“A lovely house right in the heart of the village. Easily walkable to the beach and restaurants. Charming old house with ample space and amenities. Would definitely stay again!”
