“The place has its quirks, but it worked out very well for our purposes. Positives: fantastic mattresses and super quiet at night; we slept well and it was very restful. The little deck outside the kitchen was pleasant for meals and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Couches were comfy and the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom, and the shower had good water pressure. It’s easy to walk to town and the neighborhood is peaceful. Laundry was convenient and the towels and bedding were good. Cons: the place is somewhat run-down and has a funky, stuffy smell. It smelled very strong and weird when we first arrived. We left the windows open at all times, and it was completely fine because there’s good cross-ventilation, but I would not want to sleep with the windows closed! Price is a bit steep given the condition of the house. We were not there much and we slept really well, so all was well, but it could use an upgrade.”

“Beautiful and peaceful dog-friendly location on the big mesa. Great kitchen and bathroom amenities, very comfortable living area and deck on the 2nd floor. House overall smells a little damp, the dehumidifiers help. Overall good value for a Bolinas visit!”

“Comfortable beds with nice linens, plenty of towels and soap, very well equipped kitchen. It is a bit run down, but worth the price. The outdoor shower and washing machine/dryer were very nice to have and the balcony patio was very enjoyable to sit out on.”
