“The place has its quirks, but it worked out very well for our purposes. Positives: fantastic mattresses and super quiet at night; we slept well and it was very restful. The little deck outside the kitchen was pleasant for meals and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Couches were comfy and the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom, and the shower had good water pressure. It’s easy to walk to town and the neighborhood is peaceful. Laundry was convenient and the towels and bedding were good. Cons: the place is somewhat run-down and has a funky, stuffy smell. It smelled very strong and weird when we first arrived. We left the windows open at all times, and it was completely fine because there’s good cross-ventilation, but I would not want to sleep with the windows closed! Price is a bit steep given the condition of the house. We were not there much and we slept really well, so all was well, but it could use an upgrade.”

“This Seadrift house has all the charm of being one of the first 3 ones that were built in the area more than 70 years ago. The location is incredible, the views are amazing and it is such a restful place. Thank you for sharing this place!”

“A gorgeous home in the perfect location. Incredible views. The home is exactly as pictured. It was also well stocked with kitchen tools. (Sometimes, rentals don't have all of the cooking utensils one needs, but this was not the case here!) We loved our stay and will be back!”

“The Surf Shack was a quaint, cozy stay for a weekend trip! We enjoyed walking to downtown Bolinas and the beach for swimming and surfing. The host was also responsive and communicative.”

“Adorable “retro” cottage on the water decorated with whimsical artwork making it feel very personalized. Communication was excellent and place was very clean. Availability to rent paddle boards was super easy and you can walk down to the north end beach where we were able to let our dogs off leash. Gorgeous homes to look at too.”

“Perfect for our family while our son attended the Bolinas Surf Camp each day. Kitchen was well appointed and had all the things to make great meals. We brought food — and found additional great items like AMAZING sour dough bread made locally at the grocers. The hosts were super responsive and easy to work with!”

“This was a lovely and pristine place on the lagoon to stay with fireplaces and an updated modern kitchen with all the great amenities. Three bedrooms that all had their own bathrooms, which was perfect. Fireplace in the master bedroom was a nice touch and the living room had a huge sofa with ample seating. Many different tables on the decks and inside making for multiple areas to have meals together. Seadrift realty was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely return!”
