If you’re going when there is snow, be prepared. They only provide snow shovels, extra towels and sheets are limited for wet snow boots. Their hot rub looked like it needed a shock treatment, it was pretty cloudy, my skin had a reaction to it. Beware of the melting ice falling from the trees when in the hot tub, we learned the hard way, my partner had ice falling from the tree hit his face - not the host’s fault just an FYI. There are no lights in the backyard where the hot tub is, we had to shine a light from the lamp in the bedroom to be able to see. The living room is warm, but the bedroom is cold. There are no extra heaters. It was a cute little cabin for a short getaway, the kids had fun, just a bit pricey for the amount we paid and what was mentioned above.

Great stay. Very cozy cabin. Comfortable and peaceful. Some of the outdoor funiture could use some new upgrading and a dishwasher would be nice given the times, but other than that, very nice place to stay. Would recommend for a nice getaway.

My stay at this cabin was great! It is a very quiet area with a nice ambiance. The small wood stove was a great touch and helped to create a pleasant atmosphere. The hot tub was also very enjoyable and in an area that provided a decent amount of privacy. They are pet friendly and my dog had a great time as well. He was expecting snow, but sadly we were out of luck. Obviously that is not the hosts fault, and we still had a great time! If you are looking for a cozy cabin for your big bear trip this will be a great fit.

The stay started off with good communication, but issues quickly followed. Upon arrival, maintenance was adding chemicals to the hot tub shortly before check-in. The BBQ advertised in the listing was dirty and rusted, the hot tub was hard to access, and the backyard was filthy. Inside, the back bedroom had no heat. Bedding had hair on the sheets and pillows, no fitted sheet, and a visibly dirty mattress. Pillows were extremely flat. There was no usable closet space due to what appeared to be the owner’s belongings. We also found hair in the shower and dirty, stained dining chairs. Management offered to send cleaning the next day, which would have disrupted our short two-night stay, so we left early. Airbnb discounted the night stayed and refunded the second night. We also had to locate the correct WiFi login ourselves after being given incorrect information. We’ve stayed in many Big Bear cabins, and this was the lowest quality experience. Be cautious when booking.
