“You definitely can’t beat a beach front property to stay at. The location is great with a few places to eat very close by and it was fun for the kids to be able to ride their scooters safely on the boardwalk next to the sand. However, when we arrived to the Airbnb, the AC was turned off and it was 92 degrees in there. We immediately turned it on, but it was already 5pm so by the time bedtime came, it was still 86 and way too hot to get any sleep. That was really disappointing, considering how much you’re paying to stay there.”

“When arriving at the house, there’s plenty of parking for two cars. That was great. The kitchen was fantastic. Great appliances. Lots of storage. But things were a bit dated. Needs a slight facelift for a five star residence. I know it’s at the beach and they get a lot of parties there. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay. I lived in the beach community all my life so I know what it’s like. But it needs air-conditioning.”

“Beautiful condo, very clean; in a great location. It was so nice to have a garage space long enough for my full-size SUV. However, I would never stay here again unless it was actually winter. We were here during an October heat wave, and having no A/C was brutal. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the “ocean breeze” did nothing to help during our stay. During the day we kept the windows and shutters closed, but the front room has a large upper window with no covering, and the sun beats right through it. It made the only gathering room feel like a sauna. The evenings didn’t cool down enough, or have enough breeze, to make much difference. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms helped some, and a few floor fans are provided, but mostly they just moved the hot air around. Also, if you’re staying in the primary bedroom, plan on waking up with the sun because the window coverings do very little to block the light. So if it’s winter, stay here. If not, bring a portable A/C unit.”

“This is the first negative review I’ve given. The location is good. The parking is not great, but doable. The biggest issue we had was the temperature inside. It was so hot! It was 85 degrees in the house at night and 81 during the day. No AC and no ceiling fans besides the dining room. We asked for one more standing fan and they sent us a link to rent more. When I went to rent one there were no fans available. I complained and they ended up bringing one over at no cost after the first night. I’ve never had a place not provide a free fan considering the heat. The house had three fans, but we needed a fourth for the extra bed in the living room. I understand that the weather was hotter than normal, but we definitely did not feel that they were trying to help us out much considering the high cost to stay at this house.”

“We really enjoyed the property and had a fantastic time. Some things are a little rough around the edges (ex. roof top deck, window coverings) BUT this is a fantastic location and there's a great experience to be had. We liked that we didn't have to do any cleaning before checkout. Beachview Rentals was super communicative and overall had great service.”
