Beachview Rentals
4.65Visit website
Beachview Rentals's guest rating of 4.65 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Beautiful location next to the beach (1 minute walk) and a great place. Everything was in good condition and host was very responsive. The only issue was that the upstairs guest were a bit noisy - would run instead of walk and we could hear that. Will recommend to others and would stay here again if we are looking for a location next to the Newport Beach.”airbnb

“The location was great and the house was fine overall. Just keep in mind that it’s an older home, so if you’re expecting something brand new, this may not be the right fit. My only real concern was the amount of personal information required before check-in. They requested not only my information, but also my guests’ full names, vehicle information, and a copy of my driver’s license. I wasn’t comfortable providing that much personal information.”airbnb

“Not great for families with young kids and babies. Extremely noisy with windows facing that very busy street. Had to have cleaners come and re clean the floors, after toddler and baby played on the floor in their first 15 minutes their legs, feet and hands were black from dirt. Rental company required biometric identity verification (full 360 face scan) in order to sign their rental agreement and that kind of requirement is not permitted to be asked of renters per Airbnb regulations. Tenant identity is already verified through Airbnb for profile and account purposes. Because I opted out of submitting further identifying information to a third party company, I had to go to the office prior to check in so they could scan my ID. Overall we love the location but if any of the above bothers you, maybe look elsewhere.”airbnb

“If you are looking to be close to the beach and don’t care about anything else, this place is for you. The home is very very old. The furnishings are minimal and poor quality. The beds might as well be air mattress, as they literally fold when you sit on them. As someone who grew up on the peninsula a black away, I know the houses are out dated and the beach is going to weather them, but this was ridiculous. I rented through Beachview last summer and don’t enjoy the experience then either and told myself I wouldn’t use them again. The fact they are on Airbnb is ludicrous. They resisted information outside the app which is inappropriate. Only stayed one night of our reservation and then checked into the Lido Hotel which was somehow cheaper than this place. Would have left sooner if the “host” aka property management company would have responded in a timely manner. Will not be renting any of their properties again.”airbnb

“Very Clean, updated with nice materials and great use of space for every room. At THAT price point $$$$ per night the toilet paper was awful, sheets in master bedroom were crispy/hard, water pressure in all showers are very very weak, the electrical breaker kept tripping the master bedroom power when using the washing machine even when I used the fan (as instructed), no coffee onsite and no beach supplies/toys (besides chairs) to use and not rent.”airbnb

“The home is very clean and beautiful. Right on the beach. A home is being built directly across the street and construction begins loudly at 7am. Had we known that, we would not have booked because we were looking for some definite rest. We also disclosed a serious feather allergy and we’re told there were no feathers in the house. We actually had to leave early between the construction and the gigantic feather wall hangings in one of the bedrooms. One of our travelers had an allergic reaction to them. Again, it’s a beautiful place. It’s very clean. But the construction should have been disclosed. And we directly asked about feathers. We had to leave early. It was disappointing. Because we really did love it there.”airbnb

“Lots of problems. 1. Smelled like mildew/mold. 2. No extra blankets and towels. 3. No an even though I requested ahead of time. 4. Cock roaches. 5. Only have two toilet paper rolls for four guests and said we were required to buy extras. All in all this was the worst Airbnb experience that we’ve ever had. It’s too bad because the location was great. For a million dollar plus property I expected so much more. Do not go here. Pick another one!”airbnb
