“I think this is a nice stay, as long as you know exactly what you’re getting. Pros: Location! You can hike to the Hollywood sign. You’re super close to Universal Studios. You’re surrounded by peaceful, beautiful nature- e.g. lots of coyotes, deer, and foxes. Maylen was always quick to respond to questions. The primary toilet has a Toto bidet, which is always a nice bonus. Cons: There were ants everywhere, no matter how much we sprayed or how vigilant we were of crumbs and dishes. We had to throw all of our pantry groceries out on the second morning. If my little brother and I weren’t anaphylaxis-grade allergic to ant bites, this would be less of an issue, but still made the kitchen virtually unusable. This home is less upkept than the photos let on. It tightly walks the line between retro charming and outdated/ill-maintained. I love a cute 60’s house, but this one needs a good scrub and a bit more “guest-forward” thinking. Responses to issues seemed robotic and generic.”

“Overall the place was great. I had about 15 people over and everyone had their own space to enjoy. Everybody was able to accommodate well. The place was nice and clean. Would definitely come back !”
