“The house is in a quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Easy access to shops and restaurants and Universal Studios. Beds were very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.”

“Overall, a beautiful, clean, stylish house in a pristine location, with a gorgeous view on top of the hill with pool and jacuzzi. We truly had a memorable time where we were also met with hawks, hummingbirds, squirrels, and pigeon who nested on the tree right by the bbq with an egg! Ping pong table in the garage also provided the kids with great fun. Perhaps just few small things can be made sure by the cleaning and pool vendors prior to next guests arriving, such as cleaning the jacuzzi, fixing the outside chairs toaster and lights, replenishing shampoo, etc. Again, a supreme place to stay for a week and highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax in a house located in a high-end Laurelwood area in the hills of Studio City.”

“The hosts were very kind, responsive and I believe did their best during our stay. However, there were definitely things that were off putting and not worth the money about this property. The house, deck and pool could do with a refresh. The photos made the place appear newer and less dinged up than it actually is. The bathrooms, outside and kitchen should really all be redone. The pool and deck were shockingly ugly with paint dribbles all over the deck and the pool floor looking worse for wear. The appliances in the kitchen are very old, and I burned myself on fridge because it was overheating. The grill doesn’t work, the hot tub was filthy. Also, I don’t know why they would allow for 10 guests to stay at the property when the neighbors are so sensitive to noise. If you plan on doing very little outside and having less than 10 people stay, then you most likely won’t have to worry about noise complaints. However, this was a huge issue even with prior approval from the hosts.”

“I checked in with my wife and 4 year old daughter for just over a month so I could commute to my job in the area. The positives: - Comfy beds - Good showers/bath - Spacious Needs improvement: - Maintenance. Oven broke halfway through our stay and they didn't fix before we checked out. Host arranged for a toaster oven which was so small it was unusable. Then they sent a larger one later. The dishwasher never really got the dishes clean. - Kitchen doesn't have what you need to cook properly. - Host is a management company that uses AI to communicate and so it felt like talking to a robot that was very agreeable but only does the bare minimum. - Thin walls/floors. Got a noise complaint on the last evening due to my 4 year old making normal noise, outside of signposted quiet hours. - Wifi keeps dropping out. Bottom line, I had to devote too much mental energy to dealing with hassles. Maybe good for short term but steer clear for long visits. Couldn't wait to check out. Poor value.”

“Fabulous property with a fabulous view. Plenty of space, enjoyed using the pool and easy to get to Studio City for local shops. We used the property as our base, travelling to watch the soccer, basketball games, Universal, Santa Monica and a day travelling up the Big Sur”

“House was great. Great location, bright, large bedrooms, private backyard, nice view. Host was always quick to answer.”

“We had such a wonderful time at this home. The three bedrooms were spread out and allowed privacy and space for our large family. There were a few glitches: the hot tub didn't heat up,, but hosts were responsive in getting a technician out and also The pool was cleaned for us. There was a large crack in the living room floor in a high traffic area when we got there, but otherwise the place was in pretty good shape. Jack comped us a few days of pool heating since the hot tub wasn't usable until the last night. The pool was wonderful. One minor thing that wasn't there as advertised was a high chair for my grandson, but we made it work. Gorgeous area, peaceful, well equipped kitchen--we did a lot of cooking!”
