“You can’t beat the stunning views! The ocean was breathtaking, we loved watching the weather roll in over the water from the hot tub. The home definitely needs a few updates (especially the bed, we woke up pretty sore). Overall, a beautiful spot with an unbeatable view that’s well worth the visit.”

“The property has a nice location and views, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing due to some important issues with the listing and amenities. Our biggest concern was the heating. The host confirmed that the home is primarily heated by a gas fireplace and an electric wall heater in the living area. The upstairs bedroom remained very cold, and our kids were uncomfortable during the night. We were advised to use the ceiling fan to circulate the heat and later told there should be a portable space heater in the closet. For families traveling with young children, I think the limited heating arrangement should be made much clearer in the listing. There was also confusing information regarding a dishwasher. Airbnb’s departure instructions included dishwasher instructions, but there is actually no dishwasher in the house. The host clarified that the dishwasher was not listed as an amenity and that the instructions were included in error. We raised the heating issue immediately and e”

“This is my third or fourth time back to this location and I will continue to come back as long as they'll have me this place is one of the most stunning spots I've been to in Gualala and the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean at the sunset and it's just amazing I can't say enough beautiful things about this place I just feel like it's my home away from home and when I need a respite that's where I go... Absolutely love”

“The location was convenient, and the house worked fine for our short stay, but it was the most basic Airbnb we’ve stayed in and the listing sets much higher expectations. The mattresses and box springs felt decades old, one twin bed had springs you could feel, and the pillows were flat and lumpy. Lighting was very poor throughout the house. Several lights didn’t work, including the porch light and night lights, and other fixtures flickered. We also found it odd that several windows, including the bedroom, had no coverings, leaving very little privacy. The home was minimally stocked, with very few towels despite having unused shelving available to store more in the bathroom. For the price this home likely generates, a few inexpensive upgrades, new mattresses and pillows, better lighting, window coverings, more towels, better stocking of amenities would make a significant difference in the guest experience. It served its purpose, but we wouldn’t stay here again.”
