“Poor communication, undisclosed aggressive agreement, and non-working AC. Immediately after the free cancellation window ended the host sent a link to an agreement which was not disclosed in the listing and included things like $1000 remaining balance, $5000 security deposit, not allowed to write negative reviews, full legal immunity if owner neglect results in injury, etc. I told the hosts that I would not be signing it and to let me know asap whether that was okay or to cancel on me so we could make alternative arrangements. The host waited weeks to respond to me, until the morning of our check in, and then said we had to sign it. We were literally traveling there as we tried to figure this out. Ended up having to sign a modified version. Got to the house and half of it had a broken AC. The first night two of the bedrooms, including the master were over 80 degrees. They have some AI who mainly responds, hard to get a real person. Eventually got portable units after pressing all day.”

“Beautiful peaceful location. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is small. Bathroom, second bedroom, and patio could use a deep cleaning. Kitchen and living room was bright and airy. Overall we were happy with our stay.”

“Everything was very nice however the pool seemed a little questionable with cleanliness of it. The overhead light in the kids bedroom wouldn’t turn off without the fan off so that was a little inconvenient. My family had a very nice time, it was a nice little getaway for the weekend.”
