“An Airbnb is supposed to be something nice. Something where you’re comfortable and relaxed and feel proud to be in. There’s 1000 hotels out there, but an Airbnb is supposed to be clean quaint and cozy. This was nothing short of an old run down house that I was embarrased to bring my family to… We did not stay in the property. We pulled up got in and said heck no… Not a place I would stay by myself much less have my family come hang out We have family here and we like to get Air BNbs so we can have a place to watch TV chill and visit. yea no I would have been embarrased to have them come to this place. Outlet covers are from the 70s the paint has so many streaks in it.. just a clean crack house is all this is… And with Air BNB there is no refunds so I ate it and went to the Marriott….”

“This place looks like it’s going to be a lot better than it actually is. The carpets are stained. The air vents are black with dust. There are no pots and pans and bowls and things you need to entertain in the kitchen. It has not been kept up. The outside area has furniture that’s falling down. For this price, you should look elsewhere.”

“Our stay was completely derailed by severe maintenance, sanitation, and safety failures. Most dangerously, the AC was broken, creating a hazardous 115°F environment inside. The host was unhelpful and unresponsive during this emergency. It took 3 hours of dealing with support to get relocated to a new Airbnb, which was located much farther from the convention center, forcing us to absorb extra time and travel expenses. While stranded waiting for a resolution, we documented extensive neglect: -Sanitation & Pests: Dead insects (including a cockroach) in the kitchen sink and bathroom, furniture covered in pet hair, and red food crumbs left in bunk beds. -Safety & Damage: Kitchen floor flooded from a leaking dishwasher, and a heavy ceiling vent hanging precariously overhead. -Amenities: Backyard had scattered animal feces, and indoor dining chairs were unsafe, wobbly, and unusable. Bottom line: Total neglect! Avoid this listing.”

“The house is nice but the pictures they show online is not what you get. The pool is very small and dirty. Needs more cleaning. Need to update pictures because it’s not what you get what you see in the pictures.”

“House was lovely and clean and the check it was easy. Directions and labels made everything easy to use. All that being said, the reason we booked this house was specifically for the backyard and it wasn't really useable - definitely not the hot tub or slide - due to a wasp infestation and a large dead bird on the side of the pool. I contacted the host and they asked for photos (of wasps??? I tried to but I didn't want to get up close to a wasp nest) they said they would have someone come out the next day and contact me but no one contacted me or came. We tried to get in the pool a little bit but had to stay in one spot and it just wasn't worth it :/ However the pool table was nice!”
