“We had a terrible experience at this property and left shortly after check-in due to several serious issues. Upon arrival, we found a live scorpion in one bedroom which was especially concerning while traveling with young children. We also noticed live wet mold all around hot tub and every single bathroom, stains on furniture, spider webs in and out, excessive dog hair on rugs, bird droppings on the patio, and signs that the property had not been properly cleaned or maintained. In addition, 6 exterior cameras facing the private pool and spa, which was undisclosed in the listing. We reported these issues immediately and requested to cancel. After 2-3 hours wait, the host finally replied, refused refund with the reason: “Arizona is home to scorpions”! Airbnb ultimately had to intervene to cancel. The experience was stressful and forced us to find alternative accommodations at the last minute. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again or recommend this property to others.”
