This cabin is really well situated outside Flagstaff, north of Sedona. It sits on a peaceful cul de sac within a secluded community — that is right off the interstate. The kitchen was well appointed, couches were very comfortable, lots of deck space, and updated bathrooms were really nice. My son played so much foosball! To be honest, the overall place, and bedrooms especially, felt a little more dated than we expected based on the pictures, though. Lots of vinyl paneling, which is fine but not “new” seeming, and the carpet and linens had a distinct older scent. It wasn’t bad, but it was noticeable. New carpet and linens would give this a 5/5. We really enjoyed our stay here! There’s just that next step needed to make it really homey and bump it up to a 5.

On the positive side, the unit did match the description, was very clean and communication was good. Drawbacks: *Very uncomfortable master bed *Couch uncomfortable *No Kuerig even after messaging to confirm * Units are VERY close together. *10am checkout seemed extreme. It was clearly noted in the listing but we missed it.

cleaning fee plus 10am checkout plus requesting to strip beds, do laundry, clean dishes, cleanup garage is excessive. Pick one, but not all three.

Great location and a nice house. Host is a property management company not an individual. While good in sending canned emails to me (your reservation is in 2 months etc etc) They were virtually unresponsive in the lead up to the rental (had to change dates) to the point AirBnB had to get involved. One note - thru the app, They sent me a link that took me outside of the Airbnb app. They wanted an additional deposit (which we got resolved) AND an uploaded copy of my driver license. Never had that before with an AirBnB rental. The A/C for me was all but ineffective. Every day, House temperature soared thru the day where bedrooms were 80 degrees +. Due to poor communication with host I didn’t bother to report this until after I left. Surprisingly they got right back to me and said they would look into it but they have a lockout that doesn’t allow thermostat to go below 70. I didn’t see 70 degrees in that house once…I hope they can get it fixed.

The morning after a 14 hour travel day, multiple rooms downstairs flooded. We used mops and towels to clean up while Casago sent someone out. The gentleman was very kind and apologetic and they found another property down the road for us to stay. While the property was suitable enough, it lacked some of the features that drew me to the first property. Things happen and I understand, but after an entire morning spent addressing the leak, waiting for a resolution from Casago, packing up my family, and abiding by checkout procedures, our 3 day stay in Flagstaff turned into 2.5 days. I was also charged the difference in the two properties. When I messaged about this and about the potential for a partial refund based on our experience I received no response. I had to call and was told my message "went to a different department." I was eventually refunded the difference but have received no response regarding a partial refund due to time lost and additional stress.
