“Carefree Crest is a lovely property. It's in a beautiful neighborhood but also feels very private. It had plenty of space for our group of 5 adults & 5 kids. We loved the pool, the pool table, the huge kitchen, and the TV room downstairs for the kids. We did have a few bumps in the road. After paying $150/day to heat the pool, and being told that we had to pay for the entire stay, including the days that we arrived and left, the pool was freezing when we arrived. Cue 5 disappointed kids. The bigger bump was that the bed in the upper casita literally collapsed while my husband and I were going to sleep! It had been jerry-rigged with some bent supports and wooden blocks that promptly fell apart as soon as we got into the bed (we are normal-sized people.) The property management company did send someone to fix it the next day, but in this type of property, at this price, that shouldn't happen. All in all, a beautiful home that could use a bit more attention to detail.”

“The kitchen and family room area are great to hang out in. VERY CLEAN! The pool is nice! A quirky residence, but overall, comfortable. Check-in - We arrived after dark, and couldn't figure out how to get in. The front door is inaccessible. We found back steps that go up to the pool. There is an old school master lock with a locker like combination. It's tricky to open - we had to use a flashlight and both of us had to try before we could get it open. You have one lone key to keep track of during your stay to use to get into the family room door off the pool. If you have a guest in the casita, they can't access the house if you lock it at night. Upon departure, it took a hot minute to get the master combo lock open to put the key back. A simple updated way to enter the residence would def be helpful - and clearer check-in instructions. The umbrella by the pool is broken. Porter was very responsive when called. Overall, a nice residence to stay in and would book again!”
