Nice place in the woods.

Location and the home were great. The home was not cleaned prior to our check in and the host or company expected us to take the trash out and wash the dirty linens. Other than that the stay was amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay! We loved how quiet and peaceful the property was it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our favorite part was spending time around the fire pit, and we had so much fun taking the kayaks out on the water. We also really appreciated that the property is dog friendly, so our fur baby could enjoy the trip with us!! The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and appliances making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Overall, everything was comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This Wasilla cabin managed by RedAwning was a profound disappointment defined by gross misrepresentation and poor service. Booked specifically for its promised proximity to Susan Lake &Diamond Lake, and kayak use, the property failed on every front. The listing claimed the cabin was "steps from Susan Lake" and a "10-minute walk" to Diamond Lake, complete with photos showing a lake background. In reality, Susan Lake was inaccessible and Diamond Lake was behind an impenetrable marsh 1.5 miles away, with steps along a dangerous highway To use the provided 12-foot, 100-pound kayaks, guests would have to haul them 3 miles round-trip on foot next to traffic Communication was restricted to RedAwning—a management agency with a 1.17/5 BBB rating—rather than a local owner. RedAwning offered little help. With no local alternatives available, we were forced to stay one night and leave. Despite the severe misrepresentation, Airbnb only refunded 30% for that night. Avoid RedAwning and this property
