Northern Stay in Wasilla, Alaska

“We had a wonderful stay overall and really enjoyed the property. The location was beautiful, the home was comfortable, and it made for a great base while exploring Alaska. The host was responsive, and we appreciated the opportunity to stay here. The only reason we aren't giving a perfect review is because of a couple of issues that we feel future guests should be made aware of. During our stay, the driveway was under construction and extremely muddy. We were not notified of this ahead of time, and it made getting in and out of the property challenging. Additionally, the water had a very strong sulfur odor. While we understand this may be common in some areas, the smell was significant enough that we chose to shower elsewhere and purchased bottled water for cooking and drinking throughout our stay. A heads-up before arrival would have helped us prepare. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our visit and appreciate the hospitality. With better communication about temporary condition”

“Loved this quaint, quiet cabin tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Beautiful views, great fire place and awesome view of the mountains and lake. Really enjoyed this stay. 100% recommend”

“We stated at this Airbnb for 2 weeks while we were waiting to get into our house. Everything was new and clean when we arrived. We absolutely loved the private location, beautiful scenery, and easy access to downtown. You can’t be the patio!!! Everything was as expected. Thank you Irena for all your help!! :)”

“Absolutely beautiful view and great spot. The back deck, kitchen and fire pit area were the best parts. Host was friendly and accommodating. My husband, myself and 2 dogs stayed 3 nights. A couple cons, the stairs inside were EXTREMELY steep and scary for my dogs (if you had small children too) I had to block the stairway with our bags so they wouldn’t go up and fall down them. Lastly, the water had a super strange smell and taste, so brushing teeth and showering was not great. But overall had a wonderful stay.”
